When Where? Who is Playing?
Mark your calendars and get ready to experience the magic of Lightning in a Bottle 2024! This year, the festival will take place over Memorial Day weekend, from May 22nd to May 27th, 2024, at the stunning Buena Vista Aquatic Recreational Area in Bakersfield, located in Kern County, CA. For those traveling from afar, the festival site is approximately 100 miles outside of Los Angeles, making it easily accessible for attendees flying into LAX.
Get ready to be blown away by an electrifying lineup featuring a diverse array of talent, with a strong focus on female representation. Prepare to groove to the beats of CloZEE, Nora En Pure, Honey Dijon, Nia Archives, Jyoty, ANNA, Sama’ Abdulhadi, and many more incredible artists who will be taking the stage at Lightning in a Bottle 2024.
HEADLINERS
M.I.A. One of my all time favorites. When "Paper Planes" came out in 2007, I couldn’t stop listening. This British Rapper and record producer is a force and her music is still just as relevant today as it was when she began her recording career in 2002. And who will ever forget her epic Oscar nominated song, "O…Saya" from “Slumdog Millionaire.”
James Blake This English R&B superstar has a soothing baritone voice, 2 Grammys and is known for his hits like "Retrograde," "Life Round Here," and "Overgrown."
Fatboy Slim Arguably one of rave’s biggest legends will be doing what he does best at LIB this year. And for all those younger festival goers, you need to check out his Grammy win for best music video in the infamous video, "Weapon of Choice" featuring Christopher Walkin dancing around a hotel lobby.
Skream The English electronic music producer, will be performing a dubstep set. He remixed one of my personal most favorite songs in the world, “In For The Kill.”
Tycho his moody ambient sounds will be perfect at creating the most epic Sunset set
Labrinth English singer, rapper, songwriter, and record producer. He composed the soundtrack for the first season of HBO's Euphoria and Won the Emmy for the song “All For Us” with vocals by Zendaya
Skrillex Has won 9 Grammys- the most out of any electronic dance artist. This past year he had a double album release and several marquee festival appearances worldwide. Also did a remix of La Roux’s “In For The Kill”

Transitioning from a beloved stage to its own immersive event, Lightning in a Bottle has grown into an annual gathering attracting 20-30 thousand attendees.
It's more than just a music festival; it's a vibrant celebration of creativity, featuring captivating art installations, engaging workshops, thought-provoking talks, and mouthwatering cuisine. FESTIVAL INFO
Each festival pass grants complimentary tent camping access. For those parking on-site, camping in their vehicle, or bringing an RV, a separate vehicle pass is required. General admission and VIP Festival passes must be purchased individually.
Excitingly, this year introduces Easy Peasy Tent Packages, providing basic tent setups with bedding for hassle-free camping in the designated Easy Peasy Camp area. Similarly, Easy Peasy RV Packages offer fully powered RV setups upon arrival, allowing immediate immersion into the festival atmosphere.
