What is Karnival of the Arts Festival?
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, welcome to the greatest show on earth! Well, maybe not the greatest show on earth, but certainly the greatest carnival of the arts on the West Coast. That's right, Karnival of the Arts is back and it's bigger, better and more colorful than ever before.
Founded by a group of friends in north east Pennsylvania in 2019 on Labor Day weekend, Karnival of the Arts has quickly become one of the most anticipated festivals of the year. And this year, is the second annual west coast event for Karnival of the Arts West in Jacumba Hot Springs, California.
For those who haven't been to Karnival of the Arts before, let us give you a taste of what to expect. Imagine a world where the boundaries between art, music, and flow are blurred. Where creativity and expression are not only encouraged but celebrated. Where you can dance your heart out to the beats of local and national talent while watching mesmerizing flow performances.
And speaking of flow, if you're not familiar with it, it's a type of movement that combines dance, performance art, and object manipulation (think hula hoops, poi, and juggling). It's a beautiful and mesmerizing art form that adds an extra layer of magic to the festival.
Karnival of the Arts takes pride in showcasing both established and up-and-coming artists, musicians, and flow performers. The triple stages allow for non-stop entertainment, and you'll never run out of things to see and do.
