What Clothes Should I Pack & Wear for a Trip to Whistler?

Whistler is one of the most popular winter travel destinations in the world.  It's a breathtaking winter wonderland where you can ski, snowboard, snowmobile, zipline, go dogsledding, ice skate, snowshoe or take a scenic helicopter ride.

With 8,171 acres of ski-able terrain, Whistler-Blackcomb is the largest ski resort in North America.  The average annual snowfall of 396 inches makes for a  skiers paradise.  This mountain has plenty of terrain for the beginners,  intermediates and the most advanced skiers.  

Whistler-Blackcomb has a three village bases each with lifts and gondolas to reach the mountain.   The "Whistler Village" has everything you will need including a town hall, fire and police station, medical clinic, museum, library, and more than 200 shops and 90 restaurants.   You won't need a car once you arrive in Whistler.  You can easily access everything by foot that you will need.  

Whistler has amazing snow, on an immense double mountain ski resort with apres ski to match as well as world famous nightlife.  With a variety of bars, lounges, pubs, and nightclubs, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Packing some stylish outfits is a good idea for a great time out.

Winter vacation things you might forget to pack

1. Sunscreen- The sun can still be strong in winter and reflect off the white snow, so it's important to wear sunscreen to protect your skin.
