What Should You Wear to Jem and Jam Music Festival?

Gem and Jam is an evolving electronic music festival in its 15th year that is hosted in Tucson, AZ during the Gem and Mineral Show Feb 3-5th.   The diverse electronic music lineup is incredible and showcases talented artists who mix behind the decks or play live instruments. The production in this desert city is always beautiful with a variety of live painters, vendors, and flow artists.  

Gem and Jam is a camping festival with 4 stages and a silent disco.  The Funk Hunters, The Floozies, Dirt Wire, Emancipator, and LSDream are some of the performers this year.  Don't be fooled that it's going to be warm in Tucson.  This desert climate gets extremely COLD at night in the 30's and 40's.

The most important piece of clothing to pack is a warm, super comfortable, high quality coat.  As long as you have the right coat everything else you need will basically be an accessory to the coat.

It's important to dress warmly for colder weather at festivals. Layering is essential and can include items such as hoodies, vests, kaftans, shawls, and scarves. Dress for Warmth

To stay warm during nighttime events at Jem and Jam, it's crucial to dress appropriately with comfortable and cozy clothing.  It's necessary to bring warm clothing items like pants, leggings, and wool socks to ensure you stay cozy. Ski thermals are a great layering option that you might already have in your closet. Additionally, hats, gloves, and hand warmers can be extremely useful for keeping warm in colder temperatures.
